- Simulation air cartridges are the expendable ammunition for the Taser systems. These self-contained devices have 21 feet of range but use test non-conductive nylon wire leads and shortened barbs. This is used in conjunction with the Taser Simulation Training Suit to conduct live scenario based trainings. The non-conductive wire prevents electrical energy dispersing into the student while the shortened probe prevents penetration of the Simulation Suit.
